Our students stay in a beautiful town house that preserves the original stone and wooden beams of the traditional architecture of the Vera area.
It is located in the historic center of Jarandilla de la Vera (Cáceres), a quiet and privileged area, a few minutes walk from the Castle of the Counts of Oropesa (current Parador), a Templar hermitage and in turn, surrounded by gourmet restaurants where you can eat typical food of the area with excellent wines of the land.
The house is surrounded by a natural environment of sublime beauty, with mountainous landscapes and lush forests of oaks, chestnuts, holm oaks, thickets of thyme, heather and rockrose that provide a fresh and characteristic aroma.
Embracing this charming place, there are several natural pools of crystal clear waters of the Sierra de Gredos where you can bathe in the hottest months and that can be admired by hiking at any time of the year. These natural pools together with the Roman and medieval bridges are very characteristic elements of the landscape of Extremadura.
And, let’s not forget the number of fruit trees that adorn the orchards of Jarandilla such as cherry trees, apple trees, pear trees, fig trees, among others.

At Aloha Vera, we put at your disposal a study room and different spaces where you can practice Spanish naturally, away from the stress of big cities: a real language retreat.
> Before the trip to Jarandilla de la Vera:
The student has the opportunity to start practicing Spanish classes virtually with our partner START SPANISH, one of the online leaders in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language.
> When you arrive in Jarandilla de la Vera:
During their stay, the student receives virtual classes 3 times a week in the mornings with Start Spanish, and face-to-face classes 2 times a week taught by native teachers with extensive experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
> Back in your country:
The student continues to have the opportunity to continue their online training in their country until completing the 2 months of registration that has START SPANISH included in all packs.
These courses are organized for people who have already had previous contact with the language and who want to improve their language skills making the most of their stay in Jarandilla.
Apart from the academic part, they are offered the opportunity to make a total immersion thanks to rural and cultural activities that allow them to apply new knowledge and practice the language in a natural way.
